Police Identify Western Psych Gunman

A man walked into Western Psych in Oakland around 2 p.m. Thursday and opened fire, killing one and injuring seven others. The guman also died in the gunfire, apparently killed by a University of Pittsburgh police officer. At a press conference Friday afternoon, Pittsburgh police identified the gunman as 30-year-old John Shick of Pittsburgh. They said they're still working to establish a motive. The seven wounded people are expected to survive the injuries they sustained when the gunman, who has yet to be identified, entered the lobby of Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC.
