Help Dori the Corgi Find a New Home
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi at the Animal Rescue League is available for adoption.
Dori is a 6 year old, 43-pound Pembroke Welsh Corgi looking for a new home. Her owners surrendered her to the Animal Rescue League because she was chasing the cats and herding them around the house. They acquired her from relatives who were leaving her outside with no shelter or water. According to the Animal Rescue League, they also were feeding her people food for the past five years—and that's why she weights 43 pounds instead of 25. Dori is on a special diet now, and she already has lost 10 pounds. She likes to pretend she's a lapdog, even though she's still a little plump. Wow what an incredible dog. Sam ❤ is a perfect example of why dogs that come from the same hellish life should not be killed just because of their past. They could be incredible dogs that just need that one person that opens their heart and gives them a chance at life.   more ›
