And while our friends along the East Coast took the brunt of the punishment, people in the Pittsburgh area were just as interested and concerned about how the unusual superstorm would affect us here. The top story of the week (and month, for that matter) was about most South Hills communities rescheduling Trick-or-Treating to Saturday. Only Carnegie kept it on the traditional Halloween night. Other top stories included forecasting when Sandy would hit the Pittsburgh area and the aftermath of it passing through western Pennsylvania.
