Scott Township kicks off the winter festivals Thursday night with its annual Tree Lighting festival at Scott Park. The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 29, will have cookies and hot chocolate in the lodge, carolers and other perform at the amphitheater Santa will arrive on his sleigh pulled by the three township fire departments.
