Last week, Pittsburgh Passion player Tera McIntosh shared what the Women's Football Alliance National Championship, hosted in Pittsburgh this year, means to those involved. After Saturday's game at Heinz Field, we have a winner. Holly Peterson ran the opening kickoff back 82 yards for a touchdown, and her San Diego Surge semipro women’s football team intercepted a pass with 18 seconds left to beat the Chicago Force 40-36 Saturday in Pittsburgh—and claiming the equivalent of the Women’s Super Bowl. Fans can view the six Lombardi Trophies at the Carnegie Science Center this weekend.
The Carnegie Science Center is displaying all six Super Bowl trophies won by the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend. The display will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Fans are encouraged to pose with the trophies and to take pictures. However, the opportunity to view the display only comes to those who have purchased a general admission pass to the Science center, which costs $17.95 per adult and $11.95 per child (aged 3 to 12 years). Children aged 2 and younger may enter for free. Visitor parking at the Carnegie Science Center, which is located on Pittsburgh's North Side next to Heinz Field, is $5 per vehicle for non-members and $3 per vehicle for members.

As Chris and Gina Tarr settled in to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday afternoon, the couple started to get nervous about what was going to transpire. But it wasn’t the game they were most anxious about. Instead, Gina went into labor about five hours before kickoff and the couple rushed to West Penn Hospital in Bloomfield to deliver their first child. “It was the perfect storm,” Chris Tarr said. “The Steelers game kept me distracted so I wasn’t so stressed out. It took the edge off. If I was watching the Super Bowl and they were losing, I would’ve been upset.
