Scott Township police are investigating another burglary in the Birdland neighborhood. Police said a resident returned home from vacation on Jan. 10 to find their home in the 1400 block of Raven Drive was burglarized. It is not know when the burglary happened, police said, because the resident apparently was away from New Year’s Day until Jan. 10. Police did not say what, if anything, was taken from the home. Investigators are not sure if the break-in is related to two burglaries on Meadowlark Drive last week. Grant Goeckeler, 29, of Scott, and Brian Butt, 27, of Bridgeville, were charged in connection with those burglaries. Two men were arrested after Scott Township police said they burglarized two homes in the Birdland neighborhood this week. Police said a resident returned to their home in the 1300 block of Meadowlark Drive shortly after noon on Jan. 8 and found the door open and markings on a rear door. Officers responding to the scene found Grant Goeckeler, 29, of Scott, and Brian Butt, 27, of Bridgeville, in the area with evidence that investigators say linked them to the burglary. "They were in custody minutes after officers arrived on scene," Scott Township police Sgt. Steve Fury said.
