Unofficial election results for Pennsylvania in the 2012 federal and state elections are now posted.
President Barack Obama has won in Pennsylvania, gaining the state's 20 electoral votes, according to CBS, NBC and ABC. Also Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Bob Casey Jr., D-Scranton, has won in Pennsylvania, according to multiple sources. His opponent, Republican coal executive and Tea Party founder Tom Smith of Armstrong County, conceded to Casey at 10:30 p.m. In other statewide races, Democrat Kathleen Kane became the state's first female attorney general by defeating David Freed. Democrat Eugene DePasquale beat Upper St. Clair native John Maher for auditor general.
