Collier Police Chase Driver on Thoms Run Road

A Collier Township man with a suspended driver’s license allegedly led police officers on a brief chase along Thoms Run Road earlier this month. Collier police said they recognized 32-year-old Lucas Bailey driving on Nov. 21 after his license had been suspended for a previous DUI. He didn’t immediately stop, police said, and kept driving despite the officers activating their emergency lights. He eventually stopped, but did not pull over to the side of the road. Police said they charged Bailey with fleeing from police, driving while on a suspended license and drug possession. Suspected Drunk Driver Leads Police on High-Speed Chase

A suspected drunk driver led police on a high-speed chase along Route 50 through Heidelberg, Scott and Collier before crashing into another car. Read about that and more crime in the weekly Heidelberg police blotter.

A suspected drunk driver led police on a high-speed chase through several communities along Route 50 before crashing into another car earlier this month. Heidelberg police said they tried to stop John Perella, 29, of Collier, for suspended registration when he allegedly drove away from them around 4 p.m. on Nov. 1. Police officers from Heidelberg, Collier, Scott and Bridgeville joined the chase and witnessed him crash into another car before careening into a yard near the 1100 block of Washington Pike in Kirwan Heights. Perella ran from the car, but was stopped by officers shortly after. He was taken to St. Clair Hospital before being transported to Allegheny County Jail. Perella faces charges of drunken driving, reckless endangerment, …

30-mile Police Chase Ends in Carnegie

Police said driver led officers on chase through Washington and Allegheny counties.

State police have identified a 26-year-old Texas man as the driver who allegedly led a long line of police cruisers on a 30-mile chase through Washington and Allegheny counties. Anthony Todd Gutierrez of Abilene was arrested Friday night when police finally were able to stop the stolen pickup he was driving in Carnegie, state police Cpl. Mark Bardzil said. He faces charges of aggravated assault, risking a catastrophe, theft, receiving stolen property and fleeing form police. He was arraigned and is currently at Washington County Jail on $250,000 bond. A passenger in the car, Alicia Anjelica Serrano, 22, of Abilene, Texas, was also charged with theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy and prohibited offensive weapons. She was …
