A man is found sleeping in a cemetery and a woman is found passed out on the railroad tracks. Also, a 13-year-old boy is accused of harassment at Scott Pool.

Scott Township Man found sleep in cemetery: Terry Short, 65, of Green Tree, was charged with public drunkenness late on July 7 after Scott police said he was found sleeping in St. Joseph Cemetery near Summit Street. Boy accused of harassment at pool: A 13-year-old boy was charged with harassment while at Scott Township Pool on July 2. Scott police did not elaborate on the incident. Woman found passed out on railroad tracks: Barbara McKenna, 52, of Carnegie, was charged with public drunkenness after Scott police said they found her passed out on the railroad tracks behind a self storage center along Railroad Avenue on July 3. A 69-year-old woman is accused of road rage while trying to leave Raceway Plaza in Scott. Also in the police blotter, a man is arrested after allegedly trying to break into a Heidelberg apartment.

Scott Township Road rage leads to arrest: Scott police said they charged Sandra L. Ross, 69, of Crafton, with disorderly conduct and harassment following a road rage incident at Raceway Plaza on June 2. Man charged in connect with burglary: Grady D. Thomas, 37, of Carnegie, was charged with receiving stolen property on May 29 after Scott police said they found him with items that had been reported stolen from a burglary in the township. Retail theft at Walmart: Chanel C. Shields-Frison, 20, of Carnegie, was charged with retail theft and making a false police report after Scott Township police said she left Walmart without paying for items in her shopping car on May 31. Collier Township Nephew accused of robbing uncle: Collier police say a 23-year-old West Mifflin man assaulted his uncle, stole money and took his gold ring. Police charged Geno Mitchell with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault and harassment after the uncle told investigators he was assaulted and robbed in the 1000 block of Washington Pike on April 26. Retail theft arrests: Holly Doerfeler and Fauna Guthrie, both 18 and from Shaler, face retail theft charges after Collier Township police said they tried to steal $32 worth of merchandise from Kmart on April 27. Collier Township Trucker charged after crash: Collier police have charged the trucker who crashed into a utility pole in Kirwan Heights last week, knocking out power to the area. Melvin Sanders, who is 48 and lives in South Carolina, faces a charge of criminal mischief and several traffic violations after police said he crashed into the pole on Feb. 23 and then left the scene while a resident tried to stop him. Power outages were reported around the area due to the crash. Former employee arrested: A former employee at CBS Vending faces multiple charges after Collier police said he broke into the building and tried to take several items. Nearly $10,000 worth of industrial yard equipment was stolen from a Collier Township home.

Collier Township Yard equipment stolen: Nearly $10,000 worth of industrial yard equipment was stolen from a utility trailer in Collier Township earlier this month. Collier police said a utility trailer, tractor, brush hog, power killer and chain saw were stolen from a Walker Avenue resident’s driveway some time between Dec. 3 and 8. Investigators did not say if they have any suspects in the theft. Retail theft arrest: A Pittsburgh woman was charged with retail theft after Collier Township police said she stole $97 worth of clothing from Kmart on Dec. 21. Officer, Suspect Injured in Tussle

Also in the weekly police blotter, a rash of car break-ins were reported in Bridgeville.

A Bridgeville man wanted on drug charges now faces a number of additional charges when borough police said he resisted arrest and injured an officer. Bridgeville police Chief Chad King said they saw 39-year-old Harry Gonzales walking along Baldwin Street on Oct. 10 and attempted to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Police said Gonzales then resisted and began fighting the officers, injuring one of them. Other officers at the scene were eventually able to subdue Gonzales using pepper spray and force, before taking him to St. Clair Hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the fight. Collier police said a woman reached for an officer's Taser while they attempted to arrest her.

Collier Township Taser incident: A South Fayette woman faces a litany of charges after Collier police said she tried to wrestle a Taser away from one of the officers while they attempted to place her in handcuffs. Police said 52-year-old Lee Ann Belsito was causing a disturbance near St. Barbara’s Church off Prestley Road on Sept. 18. When officers tried to arrest her, police said she resisted and put her hands on one of the officer’s Taser. Police said they charged her with disarming a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, possession of drugs and paraphernalia, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Jewelry Burglary Suspect Arrested

Collier Township Burglary suspect arrested: Collier police have arrested a Crafton man and charged him with a burglary in the township on Sept. 18. Police said 20-year-old Cody Still was caught trying to pawn jewelry that had been stolen from a home on Baldwin Road Extension. North Fayette police made the initial arrest and handed him over to Collier Township authorities. Still is charged with burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property and possession of an instrument of crime. Business break-in: Collier police said someone broke into the Roofing Supply Group building on Noblestown Road and stole nearly $500 from the cash register. A Heidelberg man is accused of sending crude letters to a mother and daughter.

 Heidelberg Man accused of sending harassing letters: Bryan M. Bretin, 38, of Heidelberg, was charged with harassment and stalking after borough police said he left crude letters for a woman and her daughter. Police said Bretin left several letters in their apartment mailbox over the last few weeks.   Collier Township Car break-in: Collier police said a thief broke into a woman’s car on Sept. 2 while it was parked in front of LA Fitness and stole her purse in the backseat. The purse contained several credit cards, some of which were used to make purchases in Wexford, police said.
