Bridgeville Plans to Pave Bower Hill Road

Bridgeville approved a contract to pave Baldwin Street and also is beginning to solicit bids for plans to repave Bower Hill Road.

Bridgeville approved a contract to pave Baldwin Street and also is beginning to solicit bids for plans to repave Bower Hill Road. Borough Council voted Monday night to spend $76,300 for Youngblood Paving to begin work on Baldwin Street. The borough also plans to pave Bower Hill Road from McLaughlin Run Road to Darby Way. Borough Manager Lori Collins said that project could cost around $200,000. Sidewalks along the Bower Hill will also be replaced between McLaughin Run and Union Street. Borough Council also approved a plan for the sanitary sewer point repair project with a bid of $364,223 from Insight Pipe Contracting.

Can we get them to replace the sidewalks along McLaughlin Run Road they are a mess some of them are so bad you can't walk on them. We were told about two years ago they were working on getting them replaced....ha what a joke!!   more ›
