A MedExpress is opening soon after construction crews ripped down the old Burger King in South Fayette.
Construction crews quickly erected a beautiful new tan and brown building in the spot where the Burger King along Washington Pike in South Fayette used to stand. Chartiers Valley Patch posted a story in July about the new business, but several readers have sent emails asking about what is going in the prime spot. It’s going to be a MedExpress Urgent Care Unit, and it’s going to open very soon. That announcement disappointed some readers and energized others who were glad that the new tax base would benefit South Fayette. Demolition crews quickly razed the former Burger King fast food restaurant in South Fayette to make way for a MedExpress Urgent Care medical center. Crews began demolishing the old fast food restaurant along Washington Pike on July 16 and removed the debris in a matter of days.
