Multi-Sport Athlete Plans to Sign Scholarship with Eastern Michigan

Kristina Coyne, the multi-sport star who kicked on the varsity football team and played four other sports, is expected to sign onto an athletic scholarship at the college this week.

Kristina Coyne, the multi-sport star who kicked on the varsity football team and played four other sports, is expected to sign an athletic scholarship at Eastern Michigan University. She plans to compete in track at the college in Ypsilanti, MI, just a few miles away from Ann Arbor, Chartiers Valley Athletic Director Frank Vulcano Jr. said. She will officially sign her national letter of intent Wednesday morning in the High School Athletic Conference Room. Besides serving as the football team’s place kicker the past three years, Kristina also played volleyball, basketball and competed in track and field.
