Two people died in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Washington County when a tractor-trailer crossed the median and crashed into another vehicle Saturday.
Two people died in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 in Washington County when a tractor-trailer crossed the median and crashed into another vehicle Saturday, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a statement. The names of the victims have not been released, but both died from multiple injuries, according to the release. "A tractor-trailer, which was traveling westbound, crossed the medial and struck the victim’s vehicle, driving it through the guardrail and over an embankment," Warco said in a statement. Both the driver and the passenger in the Dodge car were killed in the accident near the south junction at I-70 and I-79, Warco indicated.
