Forrest Sentenced to Extra Year in Prison for Drug Charges

Russell Forrest, the man accused of molesting a 3-year-old girl, was sentenced to an additional year in prison for drug charges.

Russell Forrest, the Bridgeville man recently sentenced for charges of molesting a 3-year-old girl, was sentenced to an additional year for drug charges, Bridgeville police Chief Chad King said Thursday. Forrest was sentenced April 17 to serve three to six years in prison for molesting a 3-year-old girl last August. King said that on April 30, Forrest was sentenced to an additional year in prison for charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. However, King said the additional year is to be served concurrently with the three to six year jail sentence imposed on April 17. Forrest will serve his term in a state prison, King said. Four men from Washington County face drug charges after Bridgeville police said they caught one of them urinating in a borough parking lot. Police said they were patrolling the area around Castaway’s Bar in the early hours of March 24 when officers saw a man urinating in a nearby parking lot. While investigating, police said they found marijuana and suspected cocaine in and around the car. Police said they arrested Kevin Brooks, 39, of Eighty Four, Geoffrey Brown, 29, of Washington, Homer Thomas Jr., 34, of Canonsburg, and Frankie Yarbrough, 38, of Canonsburg. Each of them faces one charge of possession of a controlled substance. Brooks faces additional charges of drug possession with intent to deliver and disorderly conduct. The four men …

Man Facing Numerous Drug Charges Going to Trial

A Bridgeville man facing numerous drug charges during three separate arrests in three weeks is going to trial.

A Bridgeville man facing numerous drug charges during three separate arrests in three weeks is going to trial. Brenton A. Dillon, 28, waived to court two felony charges of possession with intent to deliver, two misdemeanor charges of drug possession and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. One felony charge of possession with intent to deliver was withdrawn during his preliminary hearing with District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on March 25. Bridgeville police said they charged Dillon on Jan. 23, Feb. 6 and 13. Police said Dillon brought illegal prescription drugs and paraphernalia with him to the police station on Jan. 23 while aiding a separate investigation. A man who apparently knew he would be searched for drugs when he arrived at the Bridgeville Police Department to aid in an investigation still allegedly brought illegal prescription drugs and paraphernalia with him, police said Brenton Dillon, 28, of Bridgeville, came to the borough’s police station on Jan. 23 and was told earlier he would be searched by officers before the interview began. But as officers approached him for the search, police said he reached into his pants pocket and tried to hide something in his hand. Police said they found a container with prescription pills, along with $735 in cash, two cell phones and “cut straws” that are used to inhale powder substances. A Bethel Park man faces drug law violations and other charges during a traffic stop in Heidelberg last week, borough police said. William N. Willard Jr., 35, was charged with marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, no registration and evidence tampering during the traffic stop in the 1600 block of E. Two Accused of Trying to Steal Copper Pipes From Vacant Bridgeville Home

Two people were arrested after Bridgeville police said they entered an unoccupied borough home and tried to steal various items. Police charged Zach Moore, 19, of South Fayette, and Matthew Boehm, 24, of Pittsburgh, and charged them with criminal mischief. Investigators said a water meter and copper pipes and fittings were removed from the walls, but were left inside the vacant house in the 1400 block of Romano Drive. Officers were notified of the situation on Dec. 12. Man Arrested for Allegedly Snorting Drugs in Walgreens Parking Lot

A Washington County man was arrested after Heidelberg police said they saw him and another person “snorting a white substance” in a parked car outside the pharmacy.

A Washington County man was arrested after Heidelberg police said they saw him and another person “bent over snorting a white substance” in a parked car. Police said they saw Samuel E. Markish III, 24, of Smith Township, apparently using drugs with another while in the Walgreens parking lot in the early hours of Nov. 25. Markish was charged with possession with intent to deliver and various other drug violations, police said. Police did not identify the other person in the car or whether they might also face charged. Scott Township Home burglarized: Scott Township police said a Greenbriar Drive home was “forcibly entered” and several items were stolen on Oct. 22. Police did not say what items were stolen or whether the burglars damaged the home. Man found staggering with syringes: Scott Township police said they arrested David Loidl, 27, of Scott, after they found him staggering in the early hours of Oct. 26. Police said they found him with syringes and he gave officers false information. There was also a warrant for his arrest.
