Lebanon, Scott Township and South Fayette.   Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 27. Light and variable wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight. Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 52. What weather is in store for the Pittsburgh area over the next few days? Here’s your 5-day weather forecast for western Pennsylvania in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

The worst of Hurricane Sandy has blown through Pittsburgh, but she left in her wake chilly temperatures and a lot of rain. So what’s in store for Bridgeville, Collier, Heidelberg, Scott Township and South Fayette over the next few days? Well, most of the same. It looks like it will continue to rain for the rest of the week. The weekend, however, looks a lot nicer with warmer temperatures and even (gasp) the sun! So here’s your 5-day weather forecast for western Pennsylvania in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. Thursday: Showers likely, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, with a high near 44. West wind around 14 mph.
