Scott Township police said some unusual items were stolen during a burglary at Carriage Park Apartments last month. A resident at the Greentree Road apartment complex told Scott Township police they came home to find their unit was burglarized and a DVD player, bus pass and various food items. Police said they think the burglary happened in the evening hours of Nov. 26. Police did not have more details on the incident or whether they have any suspects in the case. Scott Township Assault and theft charges: Scott Township police say a McDonald man tried to steal items from Walmart and assaulted employees as they tried to stop him on Nov. 30.
