Scott Police Recover Stolen Electronics Sold to Store

Scott Township police said a man allegedly sold a stolen iPad to a Dormont electronics store. Read about that and other crime in the weekly Scott Township police blotter.

Scott police said they arrested a 24-year-old township resident on Jan. 14 for allegedly selling a stolen iPad to an electronics store. Police said they charged Sean Sanns with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly sold the electronic tablet to MIB in Dormont. Police said the iPad was taken from a home in the 700 block of Robin Drive. Investigators did not say how the iPad was taken from the home. Orthodontic Device Damaged at School

From a DUI arrest to car vandalism to a stolen orthodontic device, there was a wide-range of crime news in the weekly Scott Township police blotter.   Scott Township DUI arrest: Karen Kneib, 54, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop along Route 50 on Nov. 11, according to Scott Township police. Orthodontic device damaged: Scott Township police said Chartiers Valley Intermediate School student’s “orthodontic device” was purposefully damaged on Nov. 11. Car vandalized: Scratches were found on a car parked at Nob Hill Apartments on Nov. 9. Scott police said they do not have any suspects in the incident.
