Camp Invention starts June 17, and registration for the program through Chartiers Valley School District is open now.
Chartiers Valley School District, in conjunction with Invent Now, will offer the Camp Invention program this summer to children entering grades one through six. The weeklong program will immerse students in play activities intended to reinforce and supplement the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) classes the students take throughout the school year. Children will work together to seek innovative solutions to real-world challenges and sharpen critical 21st century learning skills such as teamwork and creative problem solving as they rotate through four modules each day that disguise learning as fun.
