It's almost time to break out the matzo. Passover arrives on March 25 this year, when Jews across the world will come together to retell the Exodus story over four cups of wine (or grape juice for those who can't indulge), and of course, a large, festive feast. Passover Traditions As the story goes, during their flight from slavery, the Jews did not have enough time for their dough to rise, resulting in a flaky cracker that is eaten instead of bread for a full week during Passover. Bottom Dollar Opening New Grocery Stores Soon

The discount grocery store chain will open locations along Route 50 in Collier and Scott later this month.

The new Bottom Dollar Food discount grocery stores in the Pittsburgh area are expected to open later this month. Scott Township officials said the new grocery store located on Washington Avenue in the shopping center that currently houses Family Video will open Jan. 26. Meanwhile, Collier Township officials said the supermarket built in Great Southern Shopping Center was inspected Friday and should open by the end of January. Other locations for the stores in the Pittsburgh area include Castle Shannon, Baldwin, Penn Hills, McKeesport, Butler, Ambridge and Aliquippa. Discount Grocery Stores Opening in Collier and Scott

Bottom Dollar Food is opening a dozen new stores in the Pittsburgh area.

Bottom Dollar Food, a discount supermarket chain based in North Carolina, is opening a dozen new stores in the Pittsburgh area, including two along Route 50. The grocery chain has plans to open a store in Great Southern Shopping Center and another supermarket in the Scott Township plaza off Route 50 that currently houses Family Video. The grocery stores are expected to open by early 2012.
