Bonefish Grill in Upper St. Clair is now open and has something for everyone. The restaurant chain is the first to open in the Pittsburgh area and is known for its fresh seafood. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer—tender, crispy shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy (but not too spicy) sauce—is its most popular menu item. It's only $5 on Wednesdays. Customers can also try the Bang Bang Shrimp in a taco. Some of the other fish choices include Chilean sea bass, longfin tilapia and ahi tuna. Pair the fish with one of four sauces: warm mango salsa, chimichurri, lemon butter and pan Asian. The kobe beef burger (must use two hands!) and Lily's Chicken—with goat cheese, sautéed spinach, artichoke hearts and a lemon basil sauce—are also very popular …

Bonefish Grill officially opened at South Hills Village Mall in Upper St. Clair on Monday. The restaurant—next to South Hills Village—specializes in market fresh fish cooked over a wood-burning grill. You may have seen the restaurant's parking lot packed this weekend. Friday was Friends and Family Night and Saturday was Charity Night. The address is 1835 Washington Rd. and the hours are Monday through Thursday, 4 to 10:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 4 to 11:30 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The phone number is 412-835-3239. Upper St. Clair commissioners approved the construction of the restaurant in May and an outdoor dining area in October. The restaurant employs about 100 people. The new Bonefish Grill in Upper St. Clair Township is hiring. The restaurant will open on Jan. 14, and it needs 100 employees. Applications are being accepted for various positions, including angler, host and kitchen staff. The applications are available online or in-person at the new location—1835 Washington Rd. The new Bonefish Grill at South Hills Village Mall will officially open in Upper St. Clair on Monday, Jan. 14. However, the public is invited to a grand opening Charity Night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12. A $35 donation provides two drinks and a full tasting of the menu. All of the proceeds will benefit United Way of Allegheny County. RSVP is required as only limited amount of seats are available. Representatives said they're shooting for a late September opening of the restaurant.
Upper St. Clair commissioners gave approval Monday night for the construction of a new Bonefish Grill restaurant with a 6-0 vote. Representatives for the restaurant said they are shooting for a late September opening. The restaurant will be built near the new Target that is being constructed in South Hills Village. The front of the restaurant will face Washington Road. Sidewalks and crosswalks will be built from the Target to Bonefish Grill for improved pedestrian access. Representatives will return to the commissioners with an application for outdoor dining. Bonefish Grill is a seafood restaurant chain that started in Florida. Francesca’s Collections will open on the lower level and specializes in fashion-forward women’s styles with clothing, jewelry, accessories and unique gifts for any age. Bare Escentuals sells mineral-based makeup that is beneficial to skin. It will also open on the lower level of the mall.
