Bitter Cold Moving Into Pittsburgh

You better bundle up this week as bitterly cold temperatures are expected to move into Pittsburgh. There is also a chance of snow Monday and Tuesday in the South Hills.

You better bundle up this week as bitterly cold temperatures are expected to move into the Pittsburgh area. Dennis Sims, a meteorologist at Air Science Consultants in Bridgeville, told Chartiers Valley Patch last week that he expected the bitter temperatures to arrive in the South Hills on Tuesday. Sims said the middle of the week would have lows in single digits and highs in the teens. That forecast was backed up by the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh.
