You nominated five places for best family-friendly restaurant, and Bee'z won by a slim margin.
We asked you which is your favorite family-friendly restaurant and you came up with a few great suggestions. We received nominations for King’s, Nobby’s, Shouf’s, Burgh’s and Bee’z, but only one could win. In the end, you voted for Bee’z as the best family-friendly restaurant. I’ve always liked eating there in both the dining area or the pub room. Even though we could only choose one, I think the real winner is our area. How nice is it to have a bunch of great family-friendly restaurants that offer great food and wonderful atmosphere. So congrats to Bee’z and the other restaurants nominated for our contest. Readers chose the Bridgeville eatery as having the best burgers in the area! Do you agree?
We asked who makes the best burger in Bridgeville, Collier, Heidelberg and Scott, and you had many favorites from around the area (even some far away from the area). It was a close race between Sauce, Gab & Eat, Bee’z and Burgh’s, but the highest poll numbers, most favorable business reviews and positive comments made one clear winner. You decided that Sauce in Bridgeville has the best burger in the area. Ed M wrote: “Sauce by far.” JR wrote in the reviews: “Great burgers. Mac & Cheese in a skillet is delightful. Good soups. Don't want a bun, it is served in a casket iron skillet as is the Mac & Cheese. Try the Italian burger in a skillet, its wonderful.” Cindi Lash also reviewed Sauce positively: Sauce is the best. Love the burgers, …

We know you have them in your brain: Those favorite shops you frequent again and again. The restaurants you recommend to your friends. Well, here's your chance to tell your neighbors. The first favorite we want to know about is hamburgers! Who's serving up the best burger in town? Six that come to mind are Bee’z, Sauce, Burgh’s, Bottle Shop Café, Damon’s and Applebee’s. Then you can 'vote' for your favorite by leaving a review on the business's directory listing on Chartiers Valley Patch Places. The winner will be determined by the Patch local editor, based in large part on the reviews. And be nice: we'll only consider positive reviews in making our decision. Make sure to vote by writing a review by 9 a.m. Friday. Patch Local Editor Mike …

I just noticed Gab & Eat's link. I was there once back in 2007 with a friend who insisted I have breakfast with him. I can't comment on the food ... all I can say is I wouldn't order any food there from what I saw. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you the booth type seat I sat on had the stuffings coming out of them. It wasn't the only booth seat I saw like that. I will not go any further with …   more ›
