Heidelberg police said Cory Losekamp punched the 16-year-old boy in the head repeatedly.
A Scott Township man was arrested last week after police accused him of beating a 16-year-old boy. Heidelberg police said Cory Losekamp, 23, punched the boy in the head repeatedly at a Grant Street home shortly after 6 p.m. on Feb. 20. Losekamp was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail and arraigned. Police did not say how badly the boy was injured or what prompted the fight. Investigators also did not identify him because of his age or say how he knew Losekamp. A Crafton area woman accused of assault, terroristic threats and illegally carrying a firearm will stand trial on most of the charges. Mary E. Carnahan, 52, was held for court on a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license and misdemeanor counts of weapons possession, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats. A felony aggravated assault charge was withdrawn during her preliminary court hearing with District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on Feb. 11. Two people were arrested after Bridgeville police said they entered an unoccupied borough home and tried to steal various items. Police charged Zach Moore, 19, of South Fayette, and Matthew Boehm, 24, of Pittsburgh, and charged them with criminal mischief. Investigators said a water meter and copper pipes and fittings were removed from the walls, but were left inside the vacant house in the 1400 block of Romano Drive. A New Castle woman faces charges after Heidelberg police said she assaulted another woman over missing prescription medicine. Police said they were called to a home in the 1700 block of Washington Street on Dec. 23 when they found the two women fighting. Police said they charged 35-year-old Danine Kaercher simple assault, harassment, reckless endangerment and criminal attempt. The other woman had injuries following the fight in the living room, police said. Kaercher will be sent the charges by summons.

A woman stopped under suspicion of DUI earlier this month had to be hospitalized after Collier police said she fought with officers and suffered medical problems after allegedly mixing alcohol and prescription pills. Police said a car driven by Melani Buck, 36, of Tarentum, was straddling the yellow line along Noblestown Road late on Dec. 6 and nearly hit a police cruiser. Officers said the driver got back into her lane and was driving fast before police stopped the car on Pinkerton Run Road near Settlers Cabin Park. That’s when police said Buck kicked two officers and a paramedic. She had to be restrained and an officer rode with her in an ambulance to St. Clair Hospital because she was “in bad shape medically” from the alcohol and pills…

A couple from Pittsburgh was arrested over the weekend after allegedly stealing numerous packages of meat from Shop ’n Save. Scott Township police said Timothy Snyder, 45, was seen running from the Raceway Plaza grocery store with packages of meat he hadn’t paid for yet. He then got into a car driven by Donna Snyder, 46, and they tried to leave the parking lot, police said. However, investigators said officers stopped the couple before they could leave the area. Both faces retail theft and conspiracy charges. A Scott Township man is heading to trial on charges he beat up a woman eight months pregnant and her mother during a fight in an alley last weekend. Scott police said 23-year-old Daric Anderson got into an argument with the two women in the early hours of Sept. 1 and it quickly escalated into a fight in which he allegedly punched them and threw them to the ground. According to a criminal complaint supporting the charges, the fight in the alleyway behind a Mansfield Avenue home involved the 20-year-old woman, who is eight months pregnant, and her 43-year-old mother. A Beechview man is accused of using his cell phone to take photos under the skirt of a co-worker at a Scott Township business. Scott police said they charged 46-year-old Nicholas DePersis with harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly took photos of a woman at Bruce and DePersis Consulting Actuaries Office on Aug. 29. According to police, DePersis crouched behind the woman, held the cell phone under her skirt and took photos. He is listed as an account manager at Bruce and DePersis Consulting Actuaries in the Manor Oak Two office complex. Police charged a missing Carnegie man with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after officers searched for him for hours earlier this week.
Heidelberg Heidelberg police charged John Vistein, 37, of Carnegie, with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after officers said they spent nearly three hours searching for him in the early hours of Aug. 20. Fight leads to charges: Patrick Schantz, 26, of Heidelberg faces several charges following a fight in the early hours of Aug. 17, borough police said. Charges of child endangerment, reckless endangerment and three counts of simple assault against 25-year-old Ronald Oliver were waived to court before his Aug. 20 preliminary court hearing with District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet. Allegheny County police arrested Oliver on May 11 after investigators accused him of the assault in Bridgeville on April 11.
