Bridgeville Borough Building

Bridgeville was founded in 1901 and named after a bridge that extended across Chartiers Creek. The borough, which is south of Pittsburgh, has 5,341 residents, according to the 2000 U.S. Census. Notable events in the borough include the annual Memorial Day Parade, which runs through the town on Washington Avenue. Donald Dolde serves as the borough's mayor, and Lori Collins is the borough manager.
