Chuck Faletta Memorial Pet Walk

Chuck Faletta was a Bridgeville native who lost his life to kidney cancer at the young age of 50. His family is holding a memorial pet walk Sept. 7 starting at 10 a.m. at Bridgeville Public Library is his honor and to benefit the library. Click here for details.

Guided Kayak Tour with Instruction on North Park Lake

Saturday, Sept. 7 10 a.m. North Park Lake, Corner of Babcock and Pearce Mill Rd. Exploring nature in a kayak can be a fun and easy way to enjoy the outdoors. After brief introductions and a safety talk, you'll be outfitted in a personal flotation device (PFD) and receive paddling instruction. You'll then set out in a solo, recreational kayak to enjoy a guided, one and a half hour interpretive tour, learning about the ecosystem and history of the area. Click here for more information.
