Patch Pets: Meet Charlie

Can you give this handsome guy at the Animal Rescue League a new home?

Charlie is a handsome black and white Hound mix, approximately 1 year old. He is said to be house-trained, friendly with other dogs and good with cats too (although he does enjoy chasing them.)

Charlie lived with kids in a previous foster home and was friendly and playful with them. Because he has a lot of energy and youthful exuberance, older kids would be a better fit for him. He does loves chasing balls and playing with rope toys.

Charlie also loves water and would enjoy field trips that included ponds, streams or lakes. Apparently he even likes baths, so should he get dirty while playing outdoors, any hose-off will be a breeze!

Like a lot of younger dogs his size, Charlie will benefit from some obedience training classes. He's very responsive though and should learn new commands soon. He would do best being adopted by a person/family who would appreciate an active dog and have time to spend with him. Having a fenced yard for be a plus for him too.
