Local Pools Opening For Swimmers

Scott Pool officially opens for the swimming season on May 26. The pool will be opened from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It will be open 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and resume the noon to 6 p.m. schedule next weekend.

You can now purchase pool passes in the community room above the pool each weekday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Payment rates for residents and non-residents can be found at the community room.
Bower Hill Pool opens for business May 26 at 11:30 a.m. The pool’s operating hours for Memorial Day weekend will be each day from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The hours then go to 3:30 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.

Mt. Lebanon Pool opens May 26 at 11 a.m. with both adult and general swims. Season passes for residents are $79 and $110 for non-residents. Single passes can also be purchased before swimming.

Personal, family and senior pool passes for the 2012 season will be available for purchase at beginning May 25.
County pools will be open from June 2 to Sept. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, weather and conditions permitting. If a pool does not open by 2 p.m. due to inclement weather, it will remain closed for the remainder of the day.
Fees for county pool passes are $60 for an individual, $110 for a family of four ($15 for each additional family member) and $30 for seniors 60 years of age and older.
