Is it Time for a Chartiers Valley Athletics Hall of Fame?

Other high schools in the area have honored their former student-athletes and coaches with enshrinement. Is it time for Chartiers Valley to have its own athletics Hall of Fame?

The Chartiers Valley School District has had its share of glory on the gridiron and in the gymnasium—not to mention on the ice, on the track and on a number of other surfaces—but there is no athletics hall of fame in the district.

Meanwhile, neighboring Upper St. Clair School District honors an annual class in three Upper St. Clair High School Halls of Fame—Academics, Arts and Athletics.

In sports-mad western Pennsylvania, many high schools at least honor former student-athletes of theirs. After all, the sports world lends itself nicely to various halls of fame.

So why no hall of fame at CharVal? Is it time for one? If so, who should be in the inaugural class of the Chartiers Valley High School Athletics Hall of Fame?
