Collier Teams Plays In World Series Championship Game Monday

A celebration at Bottle Shop Cafe in Collier Towne Square is happening today, Monday, Aug. 5.

The Collier/Chartiers Valley Little League Team has been in California for the Little League World Series since last week, and today the team will compete in the most important game yet.

The team, which already holds the titles of East Regional Champions and United States Champions, will play in the Intermediate 50/70 Little League World Series Championship game Monday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. against Asia-Pacific.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and fans are gathering at Bottle Shop Cafe in Collier Towne Square to watch.
