Chartiers Valley Soccer Players In U.S. Soccer Regional
The three rising seniors are part of the Century V United 95/96 team.
Three Chartiers Valley High School soccer players are taking the field at the University of Rhode Island for the U.S. Soccer Region I Championships, according to the Tribune Review.
Calvin Boyle, Kyle Fisher and Jesse Tinney are part of the Century V United 95/96 soccer team that claimed the 2013 Pennsylvania West Soccer State Cup in May, qualifying them for regionals.
Century United will face Vermont's Nordic Soccer Club on Friday, Maine's MCU Portland Phoenix on Friday and Penn Fusion SA from eastern Pennsylvania on Sunday in pool play, according to the newspaper.
