South Hills Invitational at OLG Attracts 400 Runners

17 Diocesan schools participated in the 1.8-mile run at Our Lady of Grace

More than 400 runners from 17 Diocesan schools in the South Hills took to a 1.8-mile course around the campus of on Sept. 30. Through the rain and mud, the runners persevered to compete in junior varisty and varsity divisions for both girls and boys. This is the second time Our Lady of Grace was asked to host the event.

runners won the JV and Varsity Girls Divisions while the JV Boys team finished in 3rd place. Teams from St. Gabriel's took first place in the JV Boys Division and St. Thomas More won first in the Varsity Boys Division. Individual medal winners from OLG included Maria DeCello, Gabriella White, Kiki Thornton, and Dominique Felix for the JV Girls, and Sam Vanek, Ellese White, Hannanh Thornton, Jordan Callahan and Matthew Thomas for the Varsity Girls and Boys.
