VIDEO: Ice Burgh Brings Special Valentine Gifts

Ice Burgh, the mascot of the Pittsburgh Penguins, made a special appearance at Chartiers Valley Primary School this week to be one lucky first-grader’s Valentine.

Mackenzie Maga was chosen out of more than 8,000 members of the Penguins Kids Club to spend lunch with Ice Burgh. She and her classmates in Sara Beerhalter’s first grade class were treated to a lunch Thursday afternoon from TGI Friday’s.

Each classmate received a bag from Ice Burgh filled with special Penguins gear and merchandise. The Pittsburgh Penguins organization selects one Valentine for Ice Burgh each February and sends him to the student’s school for the afternoon.
