New Blog Reaches Out to CV Alumni

The school district is posting stories about Chartiers Valley and some of its former students.

There’s a new blog out for alumni to read about their school and keep in touch with former classmates.

The Colt Connections Blog, which is run by school district spokeswoman Kara Droney, began posting immediately after this year’s commencement.

Droney has posted several stories since, including a 2005 graduate who plans to participate in the Paralympic Games. Another post displays an interactive map that shows where many of the 2012 graduates will be attending college this fall.

She plans to continue blogging during the season and will post portions of the blog entries on Chartiers Valley Patch’s Local Voices section.

If you’re a CV alum, check out the blog and offer your feedback for the school district.
