Safe Sitter

Safe Sitter, a nationally-recognized program, teaches 11 to 13 year old boys and girls to provide safe childcare. The program provides child care basics, ways to recognize and respond to emergencies, tips for injury prevention and behavior management. Safety for the sitter and babysitting as a business are discussed. Learning is enhanced through hands-on activities and interactive games. are certified instructors at a location with 18 years' experience with the Safe Sitter program.  Beverages and snacks are provided during the 8-hr. day.  Prizes are offered with the interactive games.  Each participant receives a Safe Sitter Manual, safety aids, and a course completion card.  For additional information, please call 412-942-5895.
