The American Heart Association designed the Family and Friends program for individuals interested in learning how to save the life of a loved one. This particular session meets the needs of parents, grandparents and sitters with infants and children.   Participants will learn the signs and symptoms of life-threatening emergencies and practice appropriate safety actions, including skills for cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and choking for the infant and child. Each participant will receive an American Heart Association information booklet. For more information, please call 412-942-5895.
