Chartiers Valley Primary School students raised more than $1,200 for charity with their annual “Shoot to Score” fundraiser last week.

Students donated a $1 to have a chance to take two shots against their favorite teachers, principals and school administrators playing goalie in the hockey net.

The money donated from the events on Feb. 19 and 20 will be sent to the “Highmark Caring Place” that offers grief counseling for children and teens.  Highmark will also match each donation from the primary school’s fundraiser.
