Chartiers Valley School District placed in the middle of the pack in the Pittsburgh area according to the top schools list published by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

Chartiers Valley School District placed in the middle of the pack in the Pittsburgh area according to the top schools list published by the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The school district placed 44th in the 2013 rankings, which is one place higher than last year.

The Top 5 contained three schools that surround Chartiers Valley. Upper St. Clair finished first in the state and was followed directly by Mt. Lebanon. South Fayette placed fifth in the area, according to PBT.
