CV Students Show Off Their Wild Side

More than 300 people enjoyed the Rainforest Live show at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School.

Things got a little wild Tuesday night at .

The Parent Teacher Group and school district organized an afternoon assembly and evening performance of Rainforest Live with Mike Kohlrieser from Understanding Wildlife. Β The assembly and show were designed to teach the students about the importance of rainforests and the animals that lives there.

Some of the animals included a macaw, Panama Amazon parrot, caiman, alligator, constrictor snakes, lemur and capuchin monkey. School district officials estimated 300 people attended the hour-and-a-half evening show, and some even had a chance to hold or feed the animals.
