CV Students Show Off Their Wild Side
More than 300 people enjoyed the Rainforest Live show at Chartiers Valley Intermediate School.

Things got a little wild Tuesday night at .
The Parent Teacher Group and school district organized an afternoon assembly and evening performance of Rainforest Live with Mike Kohlrieser from Understanding Wildlife. The assembly and show were designed to teach the students about the importance of rainforests and the animals that lives there.

Some of the animals included a macaw, Panama Amazon parrot, caiman, alligator, constrictor snakes, lemur and capuchin monkey. School district officials estimated 300 people attended the hour-and-a-half evening show, and some even had a chance to hold or feed the animals.
