Chartiers Valley Hockey Player Chosen for All-Academic Team

To qualify, student-athletes must have a 3.5 GPA and be nominated by their coaches.

A Chartiers Valley hockey player has been named to the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) All-Academic Teams.

The high school junior and forward Anthony Franks was named to the U16 All-Academic Team.

To qualify, student-athletes must have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the 2012-13 school year and be nominated by their coaches.

Ten members of the Pittsburgh Viper Stars Midget Major (U18) club and 11 members of the Midget Minor (U16) club were chosen.

The Pittsburgh Viper Stars is a member of the North Hills Amateur Hockey Association and offers a Tier I AAA full‐season travel ice hockey program in western Pennsylvania and the tri‐state area.
