The Chartiers Valley boys’ basketball team is the No. 1 seed in the WPIAL AAA playoffs.

The boys’ team (20-3, 11-1) won the AAA’s Section 5 title and will have the weekend off as the top seed in the playoffs. They are scheduled to play on Feb. 19 against the winner of Friday night’s game between Mt. Pleasant and Knoch.

If the Colts win that game, they could have a rematch against division rival South Fayette.
