With a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me"
The poem is about living life with whimsy, fun and to it's fullest - at any age. It is a gentle reminder not to take ourselves overly-seriously...an idea well suited to the Fool / Innocent card.

It is also a gentle reminder to be our most authentic self...wear purple if you like it, wear a red hat if you are a red hat wearing kind of person. I don't think there is any one card that speaks to that - discovering your authentic self is a thread throughout tarot readings, and one of the goals of intuitive work.
It is a lovely poem, well suited to a lovely evening and a beautiful idea.
