A Halloween Party and Parade

Please support your local library! The Scott Library Halloween party will be Saturday, October 27 beginning at 6 pm. I'll be there helping with the entertainment with a family-friendly, age-appropriate, just-for-fun tarot readings*
According to the neighborhood signs, the Birdland Halloween Parade will be Saturday, October 27 at 2:30pm. In years past, line-up started on Raven Drive 15 minutes prior to parade-time, with treats and activities in Meadowlark Park after the parade.

*examples of Tarot for Kids:

The Chariot: pay attention to your books and papers so you don't loose any homework.

Strength: Always tell the truth, even when it is scary to do that

2 of coins: there are play times and there are quiet times. Make time for both.

Ace of cups: you are a cool person. Let your light shine

5 of swords: everyone makes a mistake every now and then

Queen of Wands: helping other people helps you to feel good too
