The good news: There will be fun in the neighborhood on Saturday!
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new equipment in Meadowlark Park on Saturday at 1 p.m. The park is located at the corner of Meadowlark Drive and Thrush Drive in the "Birdland" section of Scott Township.
Event is sponsored by the St. Clair Heights Citizens Association. For more information about the group or to join please visit www.birdlandcitizens.org.

The bad news: For those of you interested in astronomy (like me) ... North America doesn't get to see any of the cool total lunar eclipse tonight, June 15. If you are into astrology though, it is still a significant event as I understand it. Astrology isn't my forte by any stretch of the imagination...but if you are interested there are a couple of reliable, ethical web resources that I've found. Full disclosure: they are friends of mine, and I do trust their judgement. Plus "starcana" is local, Westmoreland County to be exact.
