Scott Township Navy Veteran Honored for Service

Sen. Bob Casey recognized Scott Township resident Walter Howe for his service in World War II.

U.S. Sen. Bob Casey presented Walter Howe, 86, with a medal of commendation for his service in World War II. 

Howe, a veteran of the Navy, served on the Naval destroy U.S.S. Jenks, which was built at the Neville Island-based Dravo Corporation. 

Casey and Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, met with the man Friday at Moon Township's Army Reserve base, following .
