Oktoberfest Coming to Heidelberg

Heidelberg is looking for craft vendors and volunteers to participate in its upcoming Oktoberfest.

The borough’s first Oktoberfest celebration will be held on Oct. 1 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Heidelberg Park. Many activities are scheduled throughout the day and will include food, live music, kids’ activities, hay rides, crafts and, of course, beer.

Registration is $25 per craft table and applications must be in by Sept. 28. Those interested in participating should contact borough Manager Joe Kauer at 412-276-0363, or view the application form on the borough website’s Oktoberfest 2011 page.
