Heidelberg Borough Renting Out Office Space

officials are looking for a tenant to rent 2,800-square-feet of office space with a prime location on the main business district through town.

But borough Manager Joe Kauer thinks the upstairs area would be a perfect place for a business office with its large floor plan, conference room, kitchen and two bathrooms.

“The way it’s set up, any professional use like an office would be a perfect match,” Kauer said.

The borough council met in the building for the first time Tuesday night and discussed better ways to market the office space to find a tenant. The borough might hire a real estate listing agent to put it on the market, although that person would get a percentage of the rent.
