Heidelberg Council appointed Carrie Nolan to the Civil Service Commission last week.

Heidelberg Borough Council appointed Carrie Nolan to the Heidelberg Civil Service Commission at its June 18 meeting.

“We welcome Carrie to the Civil Service Commission, her active role in our community and her willingness to serve her community made her a prime candidate for the Commission,” said Mayor Ken LaSota.

Nolan will fill a term that expires June 19, 2015.

The Heidelberg Civil Service Commission’s purpose is to administer testing for the hiring and promotion of the borough’s full-time police officers and to preside over hearings involving police disciplinary actions.
