We have live election results of all the most important races in the Pittsburgh area. All results are unofficial until certified.

The 2012 election is over and we have a full recap and race results below.

We’ve covered the election throughout the day by posting stories, uploading information on our CV Patch Facebook page and sharing photos on Twitter. We’ll also be covering the results live as they stream in from the precincts.

Below are the tables of the local races that affect people in Bridgeville, Collier, Heidelberg, Scott Township and South Fayette. There are also stories about each of the major races.

I think it would be poetic justice if the republicans that wake up today to vote against the minority and the 47% wake up tomorrow to find out they are the minority and the 47%.

There was a longer line than usual at my polling place in South Fayette. A retirement home bus had just dropped off residents before I parked. How has your voting experience been today?

I voted at 9:15 am and I was the 100 person to vote in ward 2 Scott. Very busy poll but no wait.

I tweeted that YouTube video and a story by NBC News that said the voting machine was put out of commission until it could be fixed. Amazing what cell phones and the Internet can do in this day and age.

He will forfeit his state House seat and either a replacement will be appointed or there will be a special election, or both.
