Collier Residents Ask For Action Against Developer

Residents say development at Prestley Heights is causing flooding problems in the township.

Collier Township residents living in the Cubbage Hill area want township officials to take action against the developer of the Prestley Heights housing development, according to a report from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

According to the report, residents said development on the property is causing flooding in other residential areas in the township.

The developer, Hiroo Patel, of Tri-State Design and Development, has offered several solutions for the runoff problem, including higher curbs, increased earthen berms and a larger detention area, according to the report, and has implemented corrective action in one area of the development already.
