Bridgeville Plans to Pave Bower Hill Road

Bridgeville approved a contract to pave Baldwin Street and also is beginning to solicit bids for plans to repave Bower Hill Road.

Borough Council voted Monday night to spend $76,300 for Youngblood Paving to begin work on Baldwin Street.

The borough also plans to pave Bower Hill Road from McLaughlin Run Road to Darby Way. Borough Manager Lori Collins said that project could cost around $200,000.

Sidewalks along the Bower Hill will also be replaced between McLaughin Run and Union Street.

Borough Council also approved a plan for the sanitary sewer point repair project with a bid of $364,223 from Insight Pipe Contracting.
